This weekend ETB Pegasus exhibited at the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy’s annual conference. It was a great weekend full of interesting lectures and discussions. There was a very positive response to Pegasus as the attending physiotherapists got to know the capabilities of Pegasus and its applications to their therapies. There was lots of interest from clinical, research, and educational view points and discussions of many future projects and applications. There will be lots to come from the physio sector of the industry and are very excited to continue working with them and their clients!
This weekend was a first for Pegasus as we tested quarter horses at the Area 13 Bob Mayhew western clinic at Wye Oak Farm. What a great weekend! I even got to ride western which I hadn’t done since I left Canada 5 years ago! I got a very positive repsonse and lots of interest from the clinic participants as well as resident trainers. Stay tuned in the near future for results from the quarter horse tests as they are sure to prove very interesting. Keep an eye on the western community, as I am sure we will see plenty more of them using Pegasus in the future!
Friday the 18th of Februrary marked Pegasus’ first weekend with Active Rider. What a great day! The weekend workshop was full of activities for the participants. Not only were there lots of trianing sessions jumping and on the flat, but there were lots of other sessions participants could book, including, physio and nutritional assessments, and Pegasus! The Pegasus session sheet was booked full, with a waiting list of people who wanted profiles done for their horse. Due to the huge success, ETB Pegasus have booked two more Active Rider weekends this spring. So get your place and book your Pegasus assessment early before its full!
Visit the Active Rider website for more details on how to get involved!
Pegasus has been featured on a Dutch TV program showing our friends at Utrecht University using Pegasus on a horse being tested on a treadmill. Unfortunately for our UK fans it is in Dutch, but you can clearly see what they are doing with the system. Our first TV appearance!

ETB Pegasus will be at the Western Equestrian Society Area 13 Bob Mayhew Clinic in Trotton West Sussex on February 19th – 21st. We will be speaking to people about gait analysis and testing western performance horses throughout the weekend! This is a true first for Pegasus in the UK and we are very excited about it. Hopefully the first of many!
